NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th October 1975
S.O. 581(E).—In pursuance of clause 4 of the Colliery Control Order, 1945, as con- tinued in force by section 16 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Energy (Department of Coal) No. S.O. 408(E). dated the 1st August, 1975, namely:—
In the said notification,—
(i) in Table II, the heading of column 3. after the words "Price per tonne" the words "of Run of Mine Coal" shall be inserted;
(ii) in the notes occurring after Table IV—
(a) in paragraph 3, the following shall be inserted at the end, namely :—•
"For removal of doubts it is hereby declared that colliery owners shall be entitled to add an amount equal to such royalty, cesses, duties of excise and sales tax. to the pithead prices specified in the said Tables."; (b) in paragraph 4, after the expression "before the first August. 1975.". the following shall be inserted, namely:—
"For removal of doubts it is hereby declared that colliery owners shall be entitle to add an amount equal to such duties of excise and sales tax to the pithead prices specified in the said Table."
