New Delhi , the 6th October 1975
S.O. 592 ( E ) . In excrcise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Com- modities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Copper ( Prohibition of Use in the manufacture of Electrical Cables and Wires ) Order , 1970 , namely:-
1. ( i ) This Order may be called the Copper ( Prohibition of Use in the Manufacture of Electrical Cables and Wires ) Amendment Order , 1975 .
(ii ) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In clause 4 of the Copper ( Prohibition of Use in the Manufacture of Electrical Cables and Wires ) Order , 1970 , for sub- clause ( 1 ) , the following sub- clause shall be substituted , namely:-
" ( 1 ) Any Police Officer not below the rank of Assistant Sub- Inspector or any other officer of an equivalent rank authorised in this behalf may , with a view to securing compliance with this Order or to satisfying himself that this Order has been complied with , and with such assistance , if any , as he thinks fit- (i ) enter upon and search any premises , any vehicle or vessel in which such officer has reason to believe that any of the provisions of this Order has been, is being , or is about to be , contravened;
(ii ) seize copper in respect of which he has reason to believe that any of the provisions of this Order has been , is being , or is about to be , contravened . "

नई दिल्ली, 6 अक्तूबर , 1975
फा० प्रा ० 592 ( अ) आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम , 1955 ( 1955 का 10) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार तांबा ( विद्युत् कैबिलों और तारों के विनिर्माण में उपयोग का प्रतिषेध ) आदेश , 1970 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित आदेश करती है, अर्थात् : --
1. ( i ) इस आदेश का नाम तांबा ( विद्युत्- कैबिलों और तारों के विनिर्माण में उपयोग का प्रतिषेध ) संशोधन श्रदेश , 1975 है ।
( ii ) यह राजपत्त में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगा ।
2. तांबा ( विद्युत्-कैबिलों और तारों के विनिर्माण में उपयोग का प्रतिषेध ) आदेश, 1970 के खंड 4 में , उपखंड ( 1 ) के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित उपखंड रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्:-
" ( 1 ) कोई भी पुलिस अधिकारी , जो सहायक उप- निरीक्षक को पंक्ति से नीचे की पंक्ति का न हो , या इस निमित्त प्राधिकृत सनतुल्य पंवित का कोई अन्य अधिकारी, इस आदेश का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने या अपना यह समाधान करने की दृष्टि से कि इस आदेश का अनुपालन किया गया है , और ऐसी सहायता, यदि कोई हो, के साथ, जिसे वह ठीक समझे,
( i) किसी स्थान , किसो यान या जलयान में , जिसके बारे में ऐसे अधिकारी के पास यह विश्वास करने का कारण है कि उसमें इस आदेश के किसी उपबन्ध का उल्लंघन किया गया है , किया जा रहा है , या किया जाने वाला है , प्रवेश कर सकेगा और उसकी तलाशी ले सकेगा;
( ii) ऐसे तांबे का श्रभिग्रहण कर सकेगा , जिसके बारे में उसके पास यह विश्वास करने का कारण है , कि उसके सम्बन्ध में इस आदेश के किसी उपबन्ध का उल्लंघन किया गया है , किया जा रहा है, या किया जाने वाला है । "

( ii) scize any electrical cables or wires in respect of which he has reason to believe that any of the provisions of this Order has been , is being , or is about to be , contravened . "

1. ( i ) इस श्रादेश का नाम विद्युत्- कैबिल और तार नियन्त्रण ( संशोधन ) आदेश , 1975 है ।
( ii ) यह राजपत्त्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगा ।
2. विद्युत्- कैबिल और तार नियन्त्रण आदेश , 1970 के खंड 8 में उपखंड ( i ) के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित उपखंड रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्: --

( ii ) ऐसे विद्युत्-केबिलों या तारों का अभिग्रहण कर सकेगा , जिसके बारे में उसके पास यह विश्वास करने का कारण है कि उसके संबंध में इस आदेश के किसी उपबन्ध का उल्लंघन किया गया है , किया जा रहा है , या किया जाने वाला है ।
