NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17th October 1975

S.O. 602(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Life Insurance

Corporation Act, 1956 (31 of 1956) the Central Government appoints Brig. Shamsher

Singh and Shri S. Rangarajan as members of the Life Insurance Corporation of India with

effect from 16th October, 1975 in the vacancies caused by the appointment of Shri K. R.

Purl as Governor, Reserve Bank of India and the resignation of Shri R. M. Mehta.
