In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Life Insurance 1956 (31 of 1956), and in continuation of notification of the Government Ministry of Finance rDepartmcni of Revenue and Insurance) No. S.O. 439(E) dated 20th AUGUST, 1975, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri R. B. Pradhan as Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India upto 25th September, 1976.
