S.O. 609 (E).—Whereas elections have been held in pursuance of the notification No. S.O. 507(E), dated the 12th September, 1975, issued under section 12A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), for the purpose of electing One member to fill the seat allotted to the State of Sikkim in the Council of States;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the said Act, the name of the member elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Sikkim is hereby notified for general information:—
