NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd October 1975
G.S.R. 537(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Passports Act, 1967 (15 of 1967), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Passports Rules, 1967, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Passports (Third Amendment) Rules, 1975.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In rule 6 of the Passports Rules, 1967, in the second proviso, for clause (i), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:—
"(i) furnishes to the passport authority documentary evidence to establish that he has sufficient means to maintain himself abroad; or"
