New Delhi, the 11th October 1975
G.S.R. 544(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) read with sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, in consultation with Governments of the States concerned and the Union Public Service Commission, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, namely:—
1. (1) These Regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Second Amendment Regulations, 1975.
(2) They shall come into force with immediate effect.
