CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi, the 30th October 1975

G.S.R. 550(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance), No. 217/75-Central Excises, dated the 16th October, 1975, namely ;—

In the said notification, the following shall be inserted at the end, namely :—

"(2) Nothing contained in this notification shall operate during the period com- mencing on the 30th day of October, 1975 and ending with the 31st day of December, 1975." [No. 220/75] R. K.
