NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 1st November 1975
S.O. 637(E)/IDRA/29B/75.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 29B of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act. 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby exempts from the operation of sections 10, 11, 11A and 13 of the said Act and the rules made thereunder: all industrial undertakings pertaining to any of the scheduled industries specified in the Schedule to this notification, subject to the following conditions, namely:—
1. The articles of manufacture shall not be an article specified in Schedule I to the notification No. 98E/IDRA/29B/73/1, dated the 16th February, 1973 of the late Ministry of Industrial Development (Department of Industrial Development), as amended from time to time,
2. The industrial undertakings shall not require imported raw materials or
imported capital goods or involve foreign collaboration.
3. The industrial undertaking does not fall within the purview of the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969 (54 of 1969) or within the purview of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 (46 of 1973).

SCHEDULE
1. Cotton spinning for the manufacture of cotton yarn upto' a capacity of 50,000 spindles subject to the following: —
(a) the packings of yarn in hank, form and the count-wise production should be in accordance with the policy in force and the directions issued by the Textile Commissioner in this regard from time to time.
(b) new unit should have a capacity of 25,000 spindles.
(c) the unit should be located in an area other than in towna with a popu- lation of more than 10 lakhs,

2. Solvent extraction of oil/oil cakes from minor Seeds including cotton , 3. Writing, printing and wrapping paper from agricultural residue and waste.
4. Rayon grade pulp from bamboo. 5. Refractories. 6. Water pumps beyond 10 rniXIO cm, 7. Cotton seed linter pulp. 8. Tractor drawn agricultural implements, 9. Glass slag and mineral wool and products thereof.
10. Hard board including fibre board/chip board and the like. • 11. GLS lamps. 12. Industrial sewing machines. 13. Basic drugs. 14. Forged hand tools and small tools. 15. Leather goods except those reserved fox Small Scale Industries. 16. Industrial machinery. 17. Surgical and m'edicinal rubber products. 18. LT Switehgears. 19. Machine tools. 20. Industrial and scientific instruments, 21. Basic insecticides,

SEC. 3tii)] THE GAZETTE OF TNDIA EXTRAORDINARY ^zy 2418 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART n~S.O. 638(E)/IDRA/29B/75^-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 29B of the Industries (Development and Begulation) Act, 1951, (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby exempts all industrial under- takings registered under the said Act or in respect of which any licence or per- mission has been issued under that Act and pertaining to any of the scheduled Industries specified In the schedule to this notification, from the operation of Clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act, subject to the following conditions, namely:—
1. The articles of manufacture shall not be an article specified in Schedule I to notification No. 98E/IDRA/29B/73/1, dated the 16th February, 1973 of the late Ministry of industrial Development (Department of Industrial Development), as amended from time to time.
2. The industrial undertaking does not fall within the purview of the . Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1909 (54 of 1969) or within the purview of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 (46 of 1973).
3. The industrial undertaking will not instal additional machinery either indigenous or imported.
Thin notification is in addition to and not in derogation of notiflcationa No. S.O. 98E/IDRA/29B/73/1, dated the 16th February, 1973 of the late Ministry of Indus- trial Development (Deptt. of Industrial Development).
