NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th November 1975

G.S.R. 564(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Passports Act, 1967 (15 of 1967), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amend- ments in the notification of the Government of India in. the Ministry of External Affairs No. GSR 398(E), dated the 30lh August, 1972, namely:—

In the Schedule to' the said notification, in the second column, under the heading "Designation of Officer",—

(a) in the entries relating to Karnataka, the existing item shall be numbered as item 2 thereof, and before item 2 as so numbered, the following item shall be inserted, namely;—

"1. Additional Secretary to the Government of Karnataka, Home Department, Bangalore";

(b) in the entries relating to Orissa, for the existing items, the following item shall be substituted, namely:—

"Joint Secretary to the Government of Orissa, Home Department, Orissa"; (c) in the entries relating to Tripura, the existing item shall be numbered as item 2 thereof, and before item 2 as so' numbered, the following item shall be inserted, namely:—

"1. Deputy Secretary to the Government of Tripura, Political Department, Agarthala";

(d) in the entries relating to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, for the existing items,the following items shall be substituted, namely:— "1. Deputy Commissioner, Andaman. 2. Deputy Commissioner, Nicobar". [No. VI/401/50/72] J. S. MEHTA, Addl. Secy. (2299 )
