G.S.R. 577(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts single super phosphate falling under Item No. 14HH of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1S44, (1 of 1944), from so much of the duty of excise leviable, thereon as is in excess of seven and a half per cent ad valorem.

G.S.R. 578(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that ]t is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No, 81-Customs, dated the 28th April, 1969, namely; —
In the said notification for the figures and words "30 per cent ad valorem", the figures and words "15 per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted.
