MINISTRY OF STEEL AND MINES (Deportment of Mines) NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 13th December, 1975

G.S.R. 584(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development) Act 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amend- ment in the Second Schedule to the s a id Act. namely: —

In the said Schedule for Item 7 and the entries relating thereto the following item and entries shall be substituted, namely: —

"7. Chromite (both lumpy non-friable ore and concentrates) —

(a) containing 48% Cr2O3 Twenty rupees per tonne,

and above,

(b) Containing less than Twelve rupees per tonne.

48%Cr2O3, and more than 40%Cr203.
