ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th December 1975
S.O. 722 (E).—Whereas the Government of the State of Maharashtra have inti- mated a few alterations in the name and extent of territorial divisions in the State and inadvertent slip or omission in the description of certain assembly constitu- encies mentioned in Table B of the Delimitation Commission's Order No. 30 of 7 December, 1974, in respect of the State of Maharashtra;
And whereas the Commission considers it necessary and expedient to make amendments in the description of those constituencies and in the Appendix to the said Order and correct the errors arising from inadvertent slip or omission so as to bring the Order correct and up-to-date;
Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Delimitation Act, 1972, the Election Commission hereby makes the corrections in the said Order as follows: —
I—In Table B—Assembly Constituencies—
(i) Under column 2, against 137-Nagpur West, the words "and Special Blocks" appearing in the description of the extent of the constituency shall be omitted;

(iil) Under, column 2, against 203-Ahmedpur and 204-Udgir. in the extent of the constituencies for the word "Shlrur" the words "Shirur Taj- band" shall be substituted;
(iv) Under column 2 against 284-Kolhapur, in the description of the extent of the constituency, lor the existing entry, the entry "Kolhapur • Municipal Corporation (excluding Wards 38-New Palace, 39-K. Bavada, 40-Dnyaneshwar Mandap, 41-Sugur Mill. 42-Bhosalewadi- Kadamvedi, 43-Line Bazar,, 44-Nagala Park, 45-Tarabai Park Garden, 46-Sadar Bazar, 47-Market Yard, 4H-Ruikar Colony, 49-New-Shahu- puri-Shivaji Par1:, 50-Sykes Extension, 51-Pachu Bungalow, 52-Radha- krisbna Mandir, 56-Baffal Market, 57-Rajarampuri. 58-Shahunagar- Waddawadi, 59-Avachitnagar and 60-Shivaji University)", shall be substituted; and
(v) Under column 2, against 285-Knrvlr, in the description of the extent of the constituency, for the existing entry, the entry 'Chikhali RIC and Karvir RIC in Karvir tahsll; and Wards 38-New Palace, 39-K. Bavada, 40-Dnyaneshwar Mandap, 41-Sugar Mill, 42-Bhosalewadi-Kadamwadi, 43-Line Bazar, 44-Nasala Park, 45-TarabaI Park Garden, 46-Sadar Bazar, 47-Market Yard, 48-Rulkar Colony, 49-New Shahupurl-Shivaji Park, 50-Sykes Extension, 51-Pacha Bungalow, 52-Radhakrishna Mandir, 56-Bafial Market, 57-Rajai'ampurl, 58-Shahunagar-Wadda- wadi, 59-Avchitnagar and 60-ShivaJi University, in Kolhapur Munici- pal Corporation" shall be substituted;
II—In the Note, for the words and fifiure '1st day of December, 1974", the
words and figure "1st day of August, 1075" shall be substituted;
III—In the Appendix to the said Order—
(i) In itc-m (1), the village "25. Tarela" shall be omitted;
(li) In item (7), after entry "149-Simbhora" the villages, "1-Deothana, 134-Ragadgaon and 140-Ahmadpur" shall be Inserted;
(iil) In item (15), the village "226-92. Ranka" shall be added after the village '90. Palasgaon';
(lv) In item (32)—
(a) the villages "131-Sakuri T. Belhe and 134-Mangrul" shall be omitted; (b) the village "132-Borl Khd." shall be added after the village '129-
Kandali'; and
(c) ior "120-Vadgaon Anand", read "120-Vadgaon Kondali"; (v) In item ;.35), the village "10-38-Ghonashi" shall be omitted.
