S.O. 730(E).---ln exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Equal Remuneration Ordinance, 1975 (12 of 1975), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of January, 1976, as the date on which the provisions of the said Ordinance shall come into force in respect of employments in local authorities.-
