New Delhi , the 22nd December 1975
S.O. 737 ( E ) - Whereas the Government of Kerala have intimated a few altera- tions in the names and extent of territorial divisions in the State and inadvertent slip or omission in the description of certain assembly constituencies mentioned in Table B of the Delimitation Commission's Order No. 18 of 27 July , 1974 , in respect of the State of Kerala ;
And whereas the Commission considers it necessary and expedient to make amendments in the description of those constituencies and correct the errors arising from inadvertent slip or omission so as to bring the Order correct and uptodate;
Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sectionsection 11 of the Delimitation Act , 1972 , the Election Commission hereby makes the corrections in the said Order as follows: -
I. In Table B-Assembly Constituencies-
( i) Under column 2 , against 7 - Payyannur , in the description of the extent of the constituency , for the existing entry , the entry "Ramanthali , Payyannur , and Eramam - Kuttoor panchayats in Taliparamba taluk ; and Ezhome , Kadannapally - Panapuzha , Kunhi- mangalam , Cheruthazham and Madayi panchayats in Cannanore taluk", shall be substituted;

( ii) Under column 2 , against 28 - Thiruvambadi , in the description of the extent of the constituency between the words " Kodiyathur " and "Kooderanhi " the words "Karassery, " shall be inserted;
(iii ) Under column 2, against 50 - Chittur , in the description of the extent of the constituency , for the words " Chittur Municipality " , the words " Chittur Tattamangalam Municipality " , shall be substituted ;
(iv) Under column 2 , against 72 - Ernakulam , 73 - Mattancherry , 74- Palluruthy and 75 - Trippunithura, in the description of the extent of the constituencies , for the word "Words " the word "Divisions " shall be substituted ; and
(v ) Under column 2 , against 131 - Ariyanad , in the description of the extent of the constituency , for the existing entry , the entry. "Ariyanad , Poovachal , Vithura , Tholicode , Uzhamalakkl and Kuttichal panchayatsats in Nedumangad taluk ; and Kattakada panchayat in Neyyattinkara taluk " , shall be substituted ;
II . In Note at the end of the Order , for the words and figures " 1st day of July , 1974 " the words and figures " 1st day of August , 1975 " , shall be substituted .

का० प्रा ० 737 ( प्र) केरत्र राज्य सरकार ने , केरल राज्य के प्रादेशिक खंडों के नामों और विस्तार में कुछ परिवर्तन और उस राज्य के संबंध में परिसीमन आयोग के तारीख 27 जुलाई, 1974 के आदेश सं ० 18 की सारणी ख में णित कतिपय सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के वर्णन में अनवधानता से हुई भूल या चूक संसूचित की हैं ;
और , निर्वाचन आयोग उन निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के वर्णन में कुछ संशोधन करना तथा उक्त आदेश को ठीक और उद्यतन करने के लिए अनवधानता से हुई भूल या चूक के परिणामित गलतियों को ठीक करना , श्रावश्यक और समीचीन समझता है ;
अत:, अब , परिसीमन अधिनियम , 1972 की धारा 11 द्वारा प्ररत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त आदेश में निम्नलिखित के अनुसार संशोधन करता है: --
I. सारणी ख-सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में--
(i ) स्तम्भ 2 के नीचे , 7--पथ्यानुर के सामने , निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर , " तालीपरम्बा तालुक में रामनथाली , पथ्यानुर और एरामम -कुदूर पंचायतें; और कलानोर तालुक में एजोम, कादनापल्ली- पानापुझा, कुन्हीमंगलम , चेरुथाजाम और मदायो पंचायतें ", प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी ;
( ii ) स्तंभ 2 के नीचे, 28 -थोरुवामवादी के सामने, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में , " कोडीयाथुर " और "कोडेरानट्टी " शब्दों के बीच में " कारासेरी " शब्द जोड़ दिया जाएगा ;

( iii ) स्तम्भ 2 के नोचे , 50 -चित्तुर के सामने , निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, " चितुर नगरपालिका " शब्दों के स्थान पर , " चित्तुर टाटामंगलम नगरपालिका " शब्द रखे जाएंगे;
( iv ) स्तम्भ 2 के नोचे , 72- एरनाकुलम , 73 -मट्टनचेरी , 74-पल्लुस्थी मौर 75- त्रिपुतीथुरा के सामने , निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, "वार्ड " शब्द के स्थान पर " डिवीजन " शब्द रखा जाएगा ;
(V ) स्तम्भ 2 के नीचे , 131- अरियानाड के सामने , निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर , नेडूमानागाड तालुक में " अरियानाड , पूवाचल , विथुरा , थोलोकोड़े, उतामालाक्कल और कुट्टीचाल पंचायतें; और नेय्याटिनकारा तालुक में काट्टाकाड़ा पंचायत । " प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी;
II. श्रवेश के अंत में , टिप्पणो में, " 1974 की जुलाई के प्रथम दिन, " शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर , " 1975 के अगस्त मास के प्रथम दिन " शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ।
