ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th December 1975
S.O. 740(E).—Whereas the Government of Mizoram have intimated a few inadvertent slips or omissions in the description of certain assembly constituencies mentioned in the Delimitation Commission's Order No. 33 of 8 February, 1975 in respect of the Union Territory of Mizoram;
And whereas the Commission considers it necessary and expedient to correct the errors 'arising from inadvertent slip or omission so as to bring the Order correct and uptodate;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Delimitation Act, 1972, the Election Commission hereby makes the following corrections in the said Order:—
I. In the Table—
(i) Under column 2, against "3-Saiha", in the description of the extent of the cons- tituency, for the word "Bungtlang", the words and brackets "Bungtlang (in- cluding Tuichawngkai) should be substituted; and
(ii) Under column 2, against "4-Chawngte", in the description of the extent of the
constituency—
2658 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. i)]~"(iii) Under column 2, against "29-Aizawl West', in the description of the extent of the constituency, for the word "Vaivakawn", the words and brackets "Vai- vakawn (including Vengthara)" shall be substituted.
II. In the note, for the words and figures "1st day of January, 1975", the words and figures "1st day of August, 1975" shall be substituted.
