NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st December 1975
S.O. 741(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 7 and 10 of the Indian Post Office Act, 1898 (6 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, namely:
1 (1) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Eleventh Amendment) Rules, 1975.
(2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of January, 1976.
2. In the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933.
(1) in sub rule (2) of rule 7, for the words "one rupee" the words "five rupees" shall be substituted;
(2) in sub rule (1) of rule 50-A, in the second proviso, for the words, "twenty four and fifty paise", the "word "forty" shall be substituted;
(3) in rule 107—
(a) in sub rule (1), for the words, "twenty four and fifty paise", the word "forty" shall be substituted;
