IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

New Delhi, the 16th January 1978

SUBJECT.--Import of D.M.T. for the licensing period April, 1975—March, 1976.

No. 7-ITC(PN)/76.—Attention is invited to item No. 96-A appearing in List III of Appendix 28 of the Import Trade Control Policy Bed Book (Vol. I) for the licensing period April, 1975-March, 1976, in terms of which import of D.M.T, is banned.

2. On a review of the position, it has been decided to allow import of D.M.T. to meet the requirements of actual users through the State Trading Corporation of Indie Limited, for the licensing period April, 1975—March. 1976. Release orders will be issued to the actual users by the licensing authorities concerned.

3. The item D.M.T. may accordingly be deemed to have been included in List of Appendix 28 and in Section III of the Import Trade Control Policy Red Book (Vol. I) for the licensing period April, 1975-March, 1976, at the appropriate places, namely as additional items at S- No. 45 in List of Appendix 28 and at S. No. 43 in Section III of the Import Trade Control Policy Red Book (Vol. I) for the licensing period April, 1975—March. 1976. D. D.
