ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th January 1976
S.O. 51(E).—Whereas the Government of Uttar Pradesh have intimated a few alterations in the name and extent of territorialdivisions in the State and inadvertent slip or omission in the description of the extent of certain assembly constituencies mentioned in Table B of the Delimitation Commission's Order No 8 of 8th December, 1973, in respect of the State of Uttar Pradesh;
And whereas the Commission considers it necessary and expedient to make amend- ments in the description of the extent of those constituencies and correct the errors aris- ing from inadvertent slip or omission so as to bring the Order correct and uptodate;
Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Delimitation Act, 1972, the Election Commission hereby makes the corrections in the said Order as follows:—
I. In Table B—Assembly constituencies—
(i) Under column 2, against 10-Almora, in the description of the extent of the constituency, for the words "Dwarahat N. A. and Pali Pachhaon pargana", the words, "Dwarahat NA" shall be substituted;
(ii) Under column 2, against 17-Seohara, in the description of the extent of the Constituency, for the words "Seohara N. A.", the words "Seohara Munici- pality", shall be substituted;

132 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—(iii) Under column 2, against 51-Bdriclly Cantonment, in the description of the extent of the constituency, after the word, "Barielly Cantonment Board" the words "Thirya Nizawat Khan T.A." shall be inserted;
(iv) Under column 2, against 54-Bhojipura, in the description of the extent qf the constituency, after the words "Dhanuara T.A.", the words "Rithora T.A. and" shall bo inserted;
(v) Under column 2, against 64-Jalalabad, in the description of the extent of the Constituency, for the words "Jalalabad T.A.", the words "Jalalabad Muni- cipality" shall be substituted;
(vi) Under column 2, against 85-Ahirori (SC), in the description of the client of the constituency, after the words "Balamau Pargana", the words "Kachhona Patscni T.A.", shall be inserted;
(vii) Under column 2, against 130-Akbarpur, in the description of the extent of the constituency, for the words "Akbarpur T.A.", the words "Akbarpur Muni- cipality" shall be substituted;
(viii) Under column 2, against 146-KaiserganJ, in the description of the extent of the constituency, before the words "Hisampur Pargana", the words "Jarwal T.A. and", shall be inserted;
(ix) Under column 2, against 218-Mubarakpur, in the description of the extent of the constituency, for the words "Mubarakpur T.A.", the words "Mubarakpur municipality" shall be substituted;
(x) Under column 2, against 306-Bharthana, in the description of the extent of the constituency, for the words "Bharthana T.A." the words "Bharthana Muni- cipality" shall be substituted;
(xi) Under column 2, against 322-Maudaha, in the description of the extent of the Constituency, after the words "Maudaha Municipality", the words "Kharela T.A." shall be inserted;
(xii) Under column 2, against 328-Jhansi and 329-Babina (SC), in the description of the extent of the constituencies, the words "Baruwa Sagar municipality" shall be omitted;
(xiii) Under column 2, against 335-Madhogarh, in the description of the extent of the constituency, after the figures and words "91-Jalaun (Rural)", the words "in Jalaun Pargana" shall be inserted; and
(xiv) Under Column 2, againu 395, Saidhana. in the description of the extent of the constituency, for the words "Sardhana N.A.", the words "Sardhana Municipality" shall be substituted;
II Tn the Note, at the end of the Order, in Sub-para (I), for the existing entry the entrv'"Any reference in this Table to a district, tahsil, Kanungo circle, pargana, lekhpal circle ward or othd te-ritorml division shall be taken to mean the area comprised within that district, tahsil, Kanungo circle, pargana. lekhpal circle, ward or other territorial divi- sion on the 1st day of August, 1975, except that a reference to wards m Meenit Munici- pality rtiall be taken to mean the area comprised within the wards on the 1st day of March, 1974" shall be substituted.

In the Election Commission's Notification No. 2821/1/MP/75, dated 8th January, 1976,. published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part IT Section 3(ii), dated 9th January,. 1976, at p. 80:—
(1) Under item (vi) in the last line, after "Schore tahsil", the words "and the forest villages in the area" shall be inserted; and
(2) Under item (ix) in the first line, for "206-Ujjain North" read "266-Ujjaim North".
