G.S.R. 50 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of All India Services Act , 1951 ( 61 of 1951) , read with sub - rule (2) , of rule 4 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre ) Rules , 1954, the Central Government , in consultation with the Government of Haryana hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength ) Regulations , 1955 , namely : --
1. ( 1 ) These regulations may be called the Indian Police Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength) First Amendment Regulations , 1976 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength ) Regula- tions , 1955 , for the heading "Haryana " and the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted , namely:-

सा० का० नि ० 50 ( श्र ) -भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( संवर्ग ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 4 के अनियम ( 2 ) के प्रथम परन्तुक तथा उपनियम ( 1 ) के साथ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शषितयों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार हरियाणा मरकार के परामर्श से भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (संवर्ग संख्या का नियतन ) विनियम , 1955 में और आगे संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्न- लिखित विनियम बनाती है, अर्थात्ः--
1. ( 1 ) इन विनियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( संवर्ग संख्या का नियम ) पहला संशोधन विनियम , 1976 है ।
( 2 ) ये विनियम राजपत्त्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( संवर्ग संख्या का नियतन ) विनियम, 1955 की अनुसूची में " हरियाणा" शीर्षक और उसमे सम्बन्धित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापति किया जाएगा . अर्थात्ः--

G.S.R. 51 (E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the All India Services , Act , 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) , read with rule 11 of the Indian Police Service ( Pay) Rules , 1954 , the Central Government , in consultation with the Government of Haryana , hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Police Service (Pay) Rules , 1954, namely :-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Police Service ( Pay ) First Amendment Rules , 1976 .
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In Schedule III , appendedto the Indian Police Service ( Pay) Rules , 1954 ,-
(a) under the heading " A - Posts carrying pay above the time scale of pay in the Indian Police Service under the State Government " , against the entry "Haryana" in the first column , for the corresponding entries in the second and the third columns the following entries shall respectively be substituted , namely:-

"Inspector General of Police
2000-125/2-2250 .
Director , Special Inquiry Agency

(b) under the " B- Posts carrying pay in the senior scale of the Indian Police Service under the State Governments including posts carrying special pays in addition to pay in the time- scale " , against the entry "Haryana " in the first column , for the corresponding entries in the second column , the following entries shall be substituted , namely:-

सा० का० ति० 51 ( श्र) -भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 11 के साथ पठिन अखिल भारतीय सेवाएं अधिनियम , 1051 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार हरियाणा सरकार के परामर्श से भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 में और आगे सशोधन के लिए गुलद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्
1. ( 1 ) इन विनियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस मेवा ( वेतन ) पहला संशोधन विनियम, 1976 है ।
( 2) ये विनियम राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की रीिख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (वेतन ) नियम , 1954 के साथ संलग्न अनुसूची- III मे,
(क) "का-- राजा सरकारो के अधीन भारतीय पुलिस भ्वा में वेतन के समय वेतनमान से अधिक वेतन वाले पद " शीर्षक के अधीन " हरियाणा " प्रविष्टि के आगे, पहले कालम में दूसरे तथा तीसरे कालमों में दी गई तत्स्थानी प्रविष्टियो के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां क्रमशः प्रतिस्थापति की जाएंगी, अर्थात् -
