ORDER
New Delhi, the 9th February 1976
G.S.R. 67(E)/Ess. Com./Sugar.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3C) of Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Gov- ernment hereby makes the following Order to amend the Sugar (Price Determination for 1975-76 Production) Order, 1975, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement—(1) This Order may be called the Sugar (Price Determination for 1975-76 Production) Amendment Order, 1976.
(2) It shall come into force with immediate effect.
2. In the Sugar (Price Determination for 1975-76 Production) Order, 1975 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), after clause 2, the following clause shall be inserted, namely:—
"3. Notwithstanding any provision, in respect of price to be paid to a producer, contained in the Orders, issued before the commencement of the Sugar (Price Determination for 1975-76 Production) Amendment Order, 1976, under sub-clause (1) of clause 2 of the Levy Sugar Supply (Control) Order. 1972. requiring such producer to sell any sugar out of the production of the year 1975-76 (whether to the Central Government or a State Govern-

210 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PAKT If^-ment or to an Officer or agent of such Government or to any other person or class of persons), the prices hereby determined and specified in columns (2) to (7) of Schedules I and II to this Order shall apply to all sugar deli- vered on or after the 9th February, 1976, against the said Order* undelr sutvclause (1) of clause 2 of the Levy Sugar Supply (Control) Order, 1972."
3. For Schedules I and II annexed to the Bald Order, the following Schedules shall bo
substituted, namely:—
