SUBJECT.—Import of Newsprint.
No. 16-ITC(PN)/76.—Attention is Invited to the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 109JITC(PN)/75 dated the 17th October, 1975, suspending import of newsprint falling under S. No. 44/V in the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book—Volume I) for 1975-76.
2. On a review of the position, it has been decided to lift the suspension on the import of newsprint with immediate effect. Import licences already issued for import of news- print and which arc otherwise valid for import may be deemed to become operative from the date of issue of this Public Notice.
