G.S.R. 70 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act , 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) , read with sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 4 of the Indian Police Service ( Cadre ) Rules , 1954 , the Central Government in consultation with the Government of Rajasthan ' hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength ) Regulation , 1955 , namely :-
(1 ) These regulations may be called the Indian Police Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength) Second Amendment Regulation , 1976 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Police Service ( Fixation of Cadre Strength ) Regula- tion, 1955 , for the heading "Rajasthan " and the entries occurring thereunder , the follow- ing shall be substituted , namely:-

सा० का ० ति० 70 ( प्र) -भा० पु ० से ० ( संवर्ग ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 4 के उपनियम ( 2 ) का अनुसरण करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार ने राजस्थान सरकार के परामर्श से राजस्थान के भा ० पु ० से ० संवर्ग के संख्या बल और गठन में संशोधन किया ह और एतद्वारा निदेश देती है कि भा ० पु ० से ० ( संवर्ग मंख्या का निर्धारण ) विनियम , 1955 की अनुसूची में राजस्थान सवर्ग प्रविष्टि में के बारे में निम्नलिखित को प्रतिस्थापति किया जाएगा , यथा--
(1 ) इन विनियमों को भा ० पु ० से ० ( संवर्ग सख्या का निर्धारण ) दूसरा संशोधन विनियम , 1976 कहा जायेगा ।
( 2 ) यह संशोधन भारत के राजपत्र में इसके प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रवृत होगा ।

सा० का० नि० 71 (भ ) भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम, 1954 के नियम 11 के साथ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवाएं अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार राजस्थान सरकार के परामर्श से भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (वेतन ) नियम, 1954 में और आगे संशोधन के लिए एतदद्वारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्-
1. ( 1 ) इन विनियमों का नाम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) द्वारा संशोधन विनियम, 1976 है ।
( 2 ) ये विनियम राजयत्व में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम, 1954 के साथ संलग्न अनुसूची- III में
(क) "-राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय पुलिस सेवा में वेतन के समय वेतनमान से अधिक वेतन वाले पद " शीर्षक के श्रधीन " राजस्थान " प्रविष्टि के आगे , पहले 22 Suc. 3 ( i) ] THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY
कालम में दूसरे तथा तीमरे कालम में दी गई तत्स्थानी प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियाँ क्रमशः प्रतिस्थापित की जाएंगी, अर्थात्:-- "पुलिस महानिरीक्षक 2500-125 / 2-2750
पुलिस अपर महानिरीक्षक 2250-125 / 2-2500
उप पुलिस महानिरीक्षक 2000-125 / 2-2250
(ख) "ख -- राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय पुलिस सेवा के वरिष्ठ वेतनमान वाले पद जिसमें समय वेतनमान में वेतन के अतिरिक्त विशेष वेतनों वाले पद भी शामिल हैं , ' शीर्षक के अधीन ' राजस्थान " प्रविष्ट के आगे पहले कालम में दूसरे कालम में दी गई तत्स्यानी प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां प्रतिस्थापित की जाएंगी, अर्थात्ः-
