NOTIFICATION
INSURANCE
New Delhi, the 16th February 1976
G.S.R. 80(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Life Insurance Corporation Act. 1956 (31 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Life Insurance Corporation Rules, 1956, namely:—
1. These rules may be called the Life Insurance Corporation (Amendment) Rules, 1976.
2. In the Life Insurance Corporation Rules, 1956, in rule 9, in sub-rule (1), for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely;—
"(b) daily allowances for halts on duty at the following rates, namely:-
(i) actual hotel charges for lodging and boarding, where separate hotel charges are not shown,
or
(ii) actual hotel charges for lodging plus Rs. 30/- per day for boarding, or (iii) Rs. 30/- per day all inclusive where he stays in a place other than a hotel:
