ORDER
New Delhi, the 2lst February 1976
8.0. 131(E).—In pursuance of sub-paragraph (I) of paragraph 4 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1970, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Petroleum, Chemicals, Mines and Metals (Department of Mines & Metals) No. S.O. 1873, dated the 18th May, 1970, namely:—
In the table annexed to the said Order, in column (2),—
(1) against Serial No. 5,—•
(A) in item (i), Penicillin Potassium G, for the letters, figures and words "Rs. 0.40 per mega unit", the following shall be substituted, namely:—
"(a) RS. 631.00 per B.U. where the bulk drug is used in the formulations manufactured by the same manufacturer;
(b) Rs. 644.00 per B.U. for sale to others.";
(B) in item (ii), Sodium Penicillin G, for the letters, figures and words "Rs. 0.50 per mega unit", the following shall be substituted, namely:—
"(a) Rs. 623.00 per B.U. where the bulk drug is used in the formulations manufactured by the same manufacturer;
(b) Rs. 639.00 per B.U. for sale to others.";

390 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—(C) in item (iii), Procaine Penicillin, for the letters, figures and words "Rs. 0.50 per mega unit", the following Shall be substituted, namely:—
"(a) Rs. 580.00 per B.U. where the bulk drug is used in the formulations manufactured by the same manufacturer;
(b) Rs. 595.00 per B.U. for sale to others.";
(D) in item (iv), Potassium Penicillin-V, for the letters, figures and words "Rs, 0.80 per mega unit", the following shall be substituted, namely :—
"(a) Rs. 918.00 per B.U. where the bulk drug is used in the formulations manufactured by the same manufacturer;
(b) Rs. 942.00 per B.U. for sale to others";
(E) after item (iv) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:—
"(v) Potassium Penicillin G 1st Crystal: (a) Rs. 423.00 per B.U. where the bulk drug is used in the formulations manufactured by the same manufacturer;
(b) Rs. 431.00 per B.U. for sale to others.";
(II) against Serial No. 12, Chlorpropamide, for the letters, figures and word "Rs. 95.60 per kg.", the following shall be substituted, namely:—
"(a) Rs. 159.00 per kg., where the bulk drug is used in the formulations manufactured by the same manufacturer;
(b) Rs. 165.00 per kg. for sale to others.";
(III) against Serial No. 14, Insulin, for the letters, figures and word "Rs. 4900.00 per mu." the letters, figures and word "Rs. 15,729.00 per mu." shall be substituted.
