EXPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT.—Export of non-levy Aluminium Metal, anwrought (ingots).
No. 7-ETC(PN)/76.—Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 52-ETC(PN)/75 dated the 22nd December, 1975, on the above subject.
2. Impartial modification of the aforesaid. Public Notice it lias now been decided that export of non-levy Aluminium (ingots) may be allowed against firm contracts even where they are not supported by irrevocable letters of credit However, in all such cases export documents shall be negotiated through bankers in India, us required under the Foreign Exchange Regulations.
