ORDER
New Delhi, the 15th March 1976
S.O. 194(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18G of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Ethyl Alcohol (Price Control) Order, 1971, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Ethyl Alcohol (Price Control) Amendment Order, 1976.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ethyl Alcohol (Price Control) Order, 1971,—
(a) clause 2 shall be renumbered as sub-clause (1) thereof and after sub-clause (1) as so renumbered, the following sub-clauses shall be inserted, namely:— "(2) The price specified in column (2) of the Table below sub-clause (1) has been fixed taking into account—
(a) sugar factory molasses grade I, being sixty rupees, per tonne, (b) sugar factory molasses grade IT, being forty-eight rupees per tonne, (c) sugar factory molasses grade III, being thirty-six rupees per tonne, (d) khandsari molasses grade K- I. being ninety rupees per tonne, (e) khandsari molasses grade K II, being seventy-five rupees per tonne,

582 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—(f) khandsari molasses grade K III, being sixty rupees per tonne, (g) khandsari molasses grade K IV, being forty-eight rupees per tonne, (h) khandsari molasses grade K V, being thirty-six rupees per tonne.
(3) Where the price fixed for molasses under sub-clause (2) is less, the price speci- fied in column (2) of the Table below sub-clause (1) shall be reduced at a rate of four rupees 'and forty-four paise per kilo litre of absolute alcohol or, as the Case may be, of rectified spirit for every reduction of—i (a) one rupee per tonne, in the case of sugar factory molasses grade 1, (b) eighty paise per tonne, in the case of sugar factory molasses grade II, (c) sixty paise per tonne, in the case of sugar factory molasses grade III, (d) one rupee and fifty paise per tonne, in the case of khandsari molasses grade K I,
(e) one rupee and twenty-five paise per tonne, in the case of khandsari molasses grade K II,
(f) one rupee per tonne, in the case of khandsari molasses grade K. Ill, (g) eighty paise per tonne, in rhc case of khanOsari molasses grade K. IV, and (h) sixty paise per tonne, in the case of khandsari molasses grade K. V. Explanation.—(1) The price referred to in sub-clause (2) shall be the price payable for the molasses to the sugar factory or, as the case may be, to the khandsari unit and does not include local taxes,
(2) In this clause tho expression "grade shall have the same meaning assigned to it in the Molasses Control Order, J961-";
(b) in clause 4—
(i) for the heading "Authority to determine the additional charges", the heading "Authority to determine the reduced prices or t'ne additional charges" shall be substituted;
(ii) in sub-clause (1), after the words "dispute arises as regards", the words "the reduced prices fixed under sub-clause (3) of el'ause 2 or" shall be inserted;
(iii) in sub-clause (3), for the words "determining the additional charges", the words "determining t'ne reduced prices or the additional charges" shall be substituted.
