G.S.R. 23&(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the fol- lowing further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No, 108/74-Central Excises, dated the 20th June, 1974. namely:—
In the Table annexed to the said notification, in Column (3), against Serial Number 1, for the entry "Rupees two hundred and sixty-five", the entry "Rupees one hundred and sixty-five", shall be substituted.
