NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th March 1976
S.O. 2170E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 109 of the Gold (Con- trol) Act, 1968 (45 of 1968), the Central Government, being of the opinion that it is necessary and expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following Order, namely:—
That a person referred to in clause (c) of sub-section (4) of section 39 of the said Act shall be exempt from the operation of the time limit specified in that clause relating to the making of an application for the grant of a certificate referred to in sub-section (1) of the said section 39, if he makes the said application on or before the 30th day of June, 1976.
