NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th March 1976
S.O. 238(E)/IDRA/76.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 29B of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby exempts from the operation of sections 11, 11A and 13 of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), and the rules made thereunder, all industrial undertakings pertain- ing to the manufacture of an article on the basis of technology developed by any of the laboratories established by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or approved in' this behalf by the Department of Science and Techno- logy of the Government of India, subject to the following conditions, namely:— (1) The article of manufacture shall not be an article specified in Schedules I, III or IV to the notification No. 98E/IDRA/29B/73/1 dated the 16th February, 1973, of the late Ministry of Industrial Development (Department of Industrial Development), as amended from time to time.
686 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)](3) The industrial undertaking shall obtain a certificate from the Depart- ment of Science and Technology to the effect that the article propos- ed to be manufactured by it is on the basis of the technology de- veloped by any of the laboratories referred to above.
2. This notification is in addition to and not in' derogation of notification No. S.O. 98E/1DRA/29B/73/1 dated the 16th February 1973, of the late Ministry of Industrial Development (Department of Industrial Development).
