G.S.R. 287 ( E ) . The following draft of certain amendments to the Board of Trustees of the Port of Calcutta ( Procedure at Board Meetings ) Rules , 1975 , which the Central Government proposes to make , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 122 of the Major Port Trusts Act , 1963 , ( 33 of 1938 ) , is hereby published as required by sub - section ( 2 ) of the said section for the infor- mation of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of 45 days from the date of publication of this notificationin the Official Gazette, 2. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect of the draft before the expiry of the said period will be taken into consideration by the Central Government .

Draft Amendments
1. These rules may be called the Board of Trustees of the Port of Calcutta (Procedure at Board Meetings ) Amendment Rules 1976 .
2. In the Board of Trustees of the Port of Calcutta ( Procedure at Board meet.
ings) Rules , 1975-
(i ) for rule 2 , the following shall be substituted , namely:-
"2. Frequency of meetings of Board and place of meeting thereof ( 1 ) A meeting of the Board , other than a special meeting referred to in rule 3 , shall be held at least once in every month .
(2) The Board shall from time to time determine the date and time of its meeting .
(3 ) A meeting of the Board shall normally be held in the head office of the Board at 15 , Strand Road, Calcutta- 700001 , except where the Board , in advance decides to hold any meeting at any other place, for reasons to be recorded in with writing " .
(i) for rule 8 the following shall be substituted , namely:-
"8. Adjournment of meetings . The president of a meeting may , with its consent , adjourn it to a later date , which , date shall either be announced at the meeting in which case intimation would be sent to the members absent at the meeting at least three days in advance , or communicated to the Trustees at least three days before the date of the meeting. "

साका नि 267 (अ) केन्द्रीय दरकार, महा पत्ता न्यास श्रधिनियम, 1963 ( 1963 का 38 ) ही बारा 122 ही डारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्त्रियों का प्रयोग करते , वलक्त्ता पत्तन न्यासीं बोर्ड ( बोर्ड के श्रधिरेगनों के लिए का ) नियम 1975 में कतिपय संगोधन करना चाहती है । जैा कि उक्त धारा की उरवारा ( 2 ) में अपेक्षित है, प्रस्तावित संशोधनों वा निम्नलिखित प्ररूप उन सभी व्यक्तियों की जानकारी के लिए पशिन किया का रहा है , जिनके उससे प्रभावित होने की सम्भात्रता है । इके द्वारा सूचना दी है कि एक्स प्रता पर इस अधिसूचना के रापत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से 45 दिन की अवधि की समाप्तिन पर यार के प्श्वान् विचार विया जाएगा ।
उमा नाते की जिसे पूर्व उस हो बत्रा बात्रा जो भी आओर या सुझाव किसी व्यक्ति से राज होंगे, केन्द्रीन सरकार ज पर विश्वा'र करेगी ।
संतबर्ती का प्राका
1. इस विनरों का नाम कलकत्ता पत्लन न्यासी बोर्ड ( बोर्ड के अधिवेशनों के लिए प्रक्रिया) संत नियम, 1976 है ।
2. कलकत्ता पक्षन यार्स बोर्ड ( बोर्ड के अधिवेशनों के लिए प्रक्रिया) नियम, 1975 में
(i) निया 2 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , श्रर्थत्
" 2 बोर्ड के अधिवेशन की आवृत्ति औरे उनका अधिवेशन थल ( 1 ) बोर्ड वा, नियम 3 में निर्दिष्ट विरो अधिवेशन से भिन्न, अधिवेशन 'प्रत्यक मास में कम से कम एक बार होगा ।

( 2 ) बोर्ड समय- समम पर अपने अधिवेशन की तारीख और समय अवधारित करेणा ।
( 3) बोर्ड का अधित्रेणन , वहां के सिवाए , जहां बोर्ड उसके लिए जो कारण हों, उन्हें लेखबद्ध करके , किसी अधिवेशन को किसी अन्य स्थान पर बुलाने के लिए पहले ही विनिश्चय करे , सामान्यतः बोर्ड के प्रधान कार्यालय-15 स्ट्रेन्ड रोड, कलकत्ता- 700001 में होगा " ।
( ii ) नियम 8 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा, अर्थत्
(iii) अधिवेशन का स्थगन अधिवेशन का सभापति, अधिवेशन के सदस्यों की सहमति से, अधिवेशन को किसी ऐसी पश्चातवर्ती तारीख तक स्थगित कर रुकेगा , जो तारीख या तो श्रधिवेशन में घोषित की जाएगी और उस दशा में अधिवेशन में अनुपस्थित सदस्यों को कम से कम तीन दिन की अग्रिम सुचना भेजी जाएगी, या अधिवेशन की तारीख से कम से कम तीन दिन पूर्वं न्यासियों को संसूचित की जाएगी " ।
