NOTIFICATION

CENTRAL EXCISES New Delhi, the 5th April 1976

G.S.R. 283(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 16/68-Central Excises dated the 1st February, 1968, namely:—

In the Table annexed to the said notification—

(a) for the existing entry in column 3, against Serial No. IB, the following entry shall be substituted, namely— "Duty in excess of 10% ad valorem";

(b) Serial No. 1C shall be renumbered as ID and before Serial No. ID as so re- numbered, the following shall be inserted, namely:—
