G.S.R. 457 ( E ) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the notifications of the Govern- ment of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking (Revenue Wing) Nos. 77 and 78-Crs- toms, dated the 3rd May, 1976, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts palm oil, rapeseed oil, soyabean oil in crude form and sun-flower oil, when imported into India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Indian Tariff Act, 1934 (32 of 1934). 2. G.S.R. 458 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of section 25, of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Finance Act, 1976 (66 of 1976)5 one¹, in .supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking (Revenue Wing) No. in-Customs, dated the 27th May" 19765 the Central Government, being Satisfied that it is neccSSaTy in the public interest so to c',o, hereby exempts palm oil, rapeseed oil, soyabean oil in crude form and sunflower oil, when im- ported into India, from the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon, uniJ,er Sub-section (1) of section 32 of the said Finance Act.

2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 31st March, 1977.
