NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th July 1976
S.O. 486(E).—Whereas a Commission of Enquiry under the Chairmanship of Prof. G. S. Ramaswamy, Director, Structural Engineering Research Centre, Madras was set up vide this Ministry's Notification dated the 18th February, 1976, to enquire into the accident involving collapse of the roof slab of a portion of the auditorium in the Indian Military Academy Complex, Dehradun, on the 5th February, 1976;
And whereas the said Commission was required to submit its report to the Central Government by the 31st May, 1976;
And whereas the Commission's life was extended upto July 1, 1976 vide this Ministry's notification dated May 28, 1976, so as to enable them to examine some aspects in greater detail;
And whereas the Commission now needs some more time for drafting its final report; Now, therefore the life of the Commission is hereby extended till July 31, 1976.
