ORDER
New Delhi, the 2nd August 1976
S.O. 521 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 5, read with section 6, of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (25 of 1946), the Central Government with the consent of the Government of the State of Maharashtra, hereby extends to the whole of the State of Maha- rashtra, the powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment for the investigation of offences punishable under section 120B, 121A, 427, 431, 435 and 440 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860). sub-section (3) of section 5 of the Indian Explosives Act, 1884 (4 of 1884), sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Explosive Substances Act. 1908 (6 of 1908), section 127 of the Indian Railways Act, 1890 (9 of 1890), and Defence and Internal Security of India Act, 1971 (42 of 1971) and the Defence and Internal Security of India Rules, 1971 and attempts, abetments, and conspiracies in relation to or in connection with, the said offences and any other offence committed in the course of the same trans- action, in regard to the following cases:—
