G.S.R. 752(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1) of section 3 of All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (2), of rule 4 of the Indian Police Ser- vice (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government in consultation with the Government of West Bengal hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Police Service (Fixa- tion of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955 namely :—
(a) These regulations may be called the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Tenth Amendment Regulations, 1976.
(b) They shall corns into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Indian POLICE Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, for the heading "West Bengal" and the entries occurring thereunder, the following shall be substituted, namely :—

1. (1) These rule. may be called*\e Indian Police Service (Pay) Eleventh Amendment
Rules, 1976.
