G.S.R. 769(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962. (52 of 1962) read with sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Finance Act, 1976 (66 of 1976), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do. hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue &. Insurance) No, 5 Customs (G S.R. No. 183), dated the 31st January, 1976, namely.—

in the preamble to the said notification, for the words, brackets and figures "sub-section (4) of section 31 of the Finance Act, 1975 (25 of 1975)", the words, brackets and figures "sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Finance Act, 1976 (66 of 1976)" shall be substituted, [No. 405/F.
