NOTIFICATION
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 20th August 1976
S.O.559(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Clause (2) of Clause 10 of the Imports (Control) Order, 1955, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment to the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No 12/66 dated the 10th November. 1966 (as amended by Notification No. 10/67 dated the 4th August, 1967, Notification No. 4/69 dated the 31st March, 1969. Notification dated 26th June, 1972, Notification dated the 13th September, 1973 and Notification dated the 6th November, 1975) constituting the authorities for the purpose of hearing appeals against the action taken under Clause 8 or 8A of the said Order, namely. —
In the said Notification item (i) shall be substituted by the following:—
"(i) where the action is taken by a Joint Chief Controller of Imports & Exports or by a Deputy Chief Controller of Imports & Exports, the Chief Controller of Imports & Exports or Additional Chief Controller of Imports & Exports, New Delhi."
