ORDER New Delhi, the 30th August, 1976
S.O. 577(E)./18FB/IDRA/75—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India In the late "Ministry of Industrial Development (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) No S.O. 455(E)/l8FB/lDRA/73, dated the 31st August, 1973, (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the Central Government, 'in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the Industries (Development end Regulation) Act, 1951 (G5 of 1951), declared that the operation of all or any of the contracts, assurances of property, agreements settlements, awards or other instru- ments in force immediately before the publication of the said Order in the Official Gazette to which the industrial undertaking known as Messrs. Carter Pooler and Company Private Limited Calcutta, is a party or which may be applicable to the said industrial undertaking shall remain suspended for a period of one year and all rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said date shall remain suspended for a period of one year;
And whereas the Central Government in the Ministry of Industry and Civil Supplies by Older No. S.O. 700(E)/18FB/IDRA/74, dated the 6th December, 1974, extended the duration of the said Order upto the 30th August, 1975;
1768 THE GAZETTE OP INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II—SEC. 3(ii)Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2), of section 18FB of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1901), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Order for a further period upto and Inclusive of the 30th day of August, 1977.
