NOTIFICATION
CUSTOMS
New Delhi, the 3rd September 1976
G.S.R 785(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interests so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Department of Revenue and Banking No. 206-Customs dated the 2nd August, 1976 namely:—
In the said notification—
(a) in the preamble, after the words "whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon" the words, figures and brackets "under the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) and the whole of the additional duty wherever leviable thereon under section 3 of the second mentioned Act" shall be inserted;
(b) for item (4) and the entries thereto, the following shall be substi- tuted, namely:—
"(4) Arms, ammunition and military stores;".
