CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi, the 6th September 1976

G.S.R. 787(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (3) of rule 49 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 the Central Government, being satisfied that circumstances of an exceptional nature exist, hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking (Revenue Wing) No. 207/76-Central Excises, dated the 25th June, 1976, namely:—

In the said notification, in condition (c), for the words "a bond", the words "one or more bonds" shall be substituted. [No. 248/76-CE] KRISHNA KANT, Under Secy.
