NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th September 1976
G.S.R. 792(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5 and 6 of the Oil- fields (Regulations and Development) Act, 1948 (53 of 1948), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Rules, 1959, namely,
1. (1) These rules may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas (Second Amend ment) Rules, 1976.
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In the Petroleum and Natural Gas Rules, 1959, in rule 14, in sub-rule (1), for the words "fifteen rupees", the words "forty-two rupees" shall be substituted.
