S.O. 605 ( E ) . Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the Council of States due to the death of Shri Niranjan Singh , a member elected to the House from Punjab before the expiration of his term of office ;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub-section ( 1 ) on Section 147 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Flection Commission hereby calls upon the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Punjab to clect in accord- ance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder , a person to fill the vacancy before 13 October, 1956 (Wednesday) .

श्रत , अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व आधनियम, 1951 की धारा 147 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबंधो के अनुमरण मे , निर्वाचन श्रायोग पजाब राज्य को विधान सभा के निर्वाचित सदस्यों में एतदद्वारा यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वे ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए तारीख 13 अक्टूबर, 1976 ( बुधवार ) से पूर्व, उक्त अधिनियम और तद्घोन बनाए गए नियमों और आदेशों के उपबंधो के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।
[सं० 100/ रा ० स ०-पंजाब/ 3/ 76 ( 1)] SO.606 ( F ) -In pursuance of the provisions of sub -section ( 1) of section 39 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby appoints for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuanceance of its notification No. 100 /CS- PB /3 / 76 ( 1 ) , dated 14 September , 1976 : --
( a) 21 September , 1976 ( Tuesday) , as the last date for making nominations;
(b) 22 September , 1976 ( Wednesday) , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations ;
( c) 24 September , 1976 ( Friday) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;
( d ) 7 Octobeı , 1976 ( Thursday) , as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken; and
( e) 13 October , 1976 ( Wednesday) , as the date before which the election shall be completed.

का ० ग्रा० 606 ( प) --लाक प्रतिनधत्व अधिनियम , 1951 का धारा 39 का उप- धारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में , निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/८० स०- पंजाब / 3/76 (1 ) , तारीख 14 सितम्बर , 1976 के अनुसरण में , राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के बारे में--
(क ) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख 21 सितम्बर, 1976 ( मंगलवार ) ;
(ख ) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा को तारोब 22 सितम्बर, 1976 ( बुधवार) ;
(ग) अथिताएं वापस लेने की अंतिम तारोब 24 सितम्बर , 1976 ( शुक्रवार ) ;
( घ ) वह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हुप्रा तो मतदान होगा
7 अक्टूबर , 1976 ( बृहस्पतिवार );
(ङ ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा

In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 10.00 a.m. to 300 p.m. as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / CS - PB / 3 / 76 ( 1 ) , dated 14 September , 1976.

का ० प्रा ० 607 ( अ ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 का धारा 56 क अनुसरण मे , निर्वाचन आयोग अनती अधिसूचना सं ० 100/८० स ० -पंजाब/ 3/ 76 ( 1 ) तारीख 14 सितम्बर , 1976 के अनुसरण में , राज्यसभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए 10.00 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 3.00 बजे अपराहन तक का समय उस समय के रहर में एनद्वारा नियत करता है जिस के बौरान यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो मतदान होगा ।

का ० श्र१० 608 ( अ) प्रतिनिधित्व श्रधानयन. 1951 की धारा 21 क उपबंधो के अनमरण में , निर्वाचन आयोग पंजाब सरकार के परामर्श में , अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/रा ० सं ० -पजाब/ 3 / 76/( 1 ) , तारीख 14 सिनम्बर , 1976 के अनुसरण मे , राज्य सभा के लिए हाने वाले निर्वाचन केलिए मचिव , पजाब विधान सभा , चण्डीगढ़ को रिटर्निंग श्राफिमर के रूप मे एतदद्वारा पदाभिहित करता है ।
