S.O. 611(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of section 2 of the Petroleum Pipeline (Acquisi- tion of Right of User in land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of petroleum and Chemicals Nos. S.O. No. 185(E) dated the 10th March, 1976, the Central Government hereby authorises the authorities mentioned in Column (2) of the Schedule below to perform the functions of the Competent Authority under the said Act, within the limits mentioned in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Schedule.
