ORDER
New Delhi, the 3lst August 1976
G.S.R. 802(E).—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and expedient so to do for securing the equitable distribution of the essential commodity, namely fer- tilizer.
New, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commo- dities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby directs that the manufacturers specified in the schedule given below :
1. Shall sell to the registered fertilizer dealers in the States or Union Territories or to the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said schedule fertiliser of the description and quality mentioned therein during the period 1st February, 1976 to 31st July 1976, at the rate of one sixth of the quantity specified in the schedule in a month; and
2. Shall submit to the Central Government and the State Government or U.T.'s or Com- modity Board's pertaining to the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said schedule a statement by the 15th day of every month containing therein :— (1) the quantity of fertilizers despatched to various dealers in the States, Union Terri- tories and the Commodity gardens mentioned in Column 1 With the dates of despatch during previous month ; and
(ii) the quantity of fertiliser which the said manufacturer propose to despatch to the various dealers in the States, Union Territories and Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 in the succeeding month.
