New Delhi, the 16th September 1976

S.O. 621(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Life Insurance Corporation Act, 1956 (31 of 1956), and in continuation of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. S.O. 603(E) dated 17th October, 1975, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri R. B. Pradhan as Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India for a further period of one year with effect from 26th September, 1976.
