NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th September 1976
S.O. 649(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 43D of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963, inserted by the Government of Union Ter- ritories (Amendment) Act, 1976, the Election Commission hereby publishes its proposal to reserve for the Scheduled Castes in the Union Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu, 1-Pcrnem assembly constituency in Goa district (as delimited by the Delimitation Com- mission under section 9 of the Delimitation Act, 1972, in its Order No. 13 of 15 April, 1974 and published in the extraordinary issue of the Gazette of India, Part II Section 3(ii), dated 27 April, 1974) 'and specifics 30 October, 1976, as the date on or after which the proposal will be further considered by it.
Any objections or suggestions in regard to the above proposal should reach the Sec- retary. Election Commission, Nirvachan Sudan, Ashok Road, New Delhi (PIN-110001, before the said date.
