G.S.R. 830 (E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 15 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, in the Department of Revenue and Banking, No. 360-Customs-[G.S.R.436(E)], dated the 1st July, 1976, the Central Govenment hereby determines that, for the purposes of sections 14 and 15 of the said Act, the rate of exchange for conversion of each of the foreign currency specified in column (2) of the Schedule below into Indian currency or vice-versa shall be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry it column (3) thereof.
