SUBJECT . Import Policy for Registered Exporters for April 1976-March 1977 .
No. 102 - ITC ( PN ) /76.-Attention is invited to the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 78 - ITC ( PN ) / 76 , dated the 2nd August, 1976 which inter -alia provides that import of poultry stocks under the import replenishment policy will be allowed to the extent of 10 per cent against exports by Registered Exporters .
2. Under the Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the period April , 1976-March, 1977 as contained in Import Trade Control Policy Volume II-page 191 ) , the import of "br Policy (Red Book- "breeding stocks " is allowed againstgainst the export of " poultry products including essence of chicken , eggs and poultry meat" falling under S. No. G. 31.2 . It has been decided that the following remark shall be inserted in column 5 against the said S. No. G. 31.2 : - "Import of item ( b ) in column 4 viz . breeding stocks will be allowed only against the exports of products mentioned in column 2. The import of this item will not be allowed under any other provisions ."

3. No commitments for import of breeding stocks should be made against REP licences already issued . Shipments on or after the date of this Public Notice can be made for the import of breeding stocks only against those REF licences where firm commitment has been made before the date of issue of this Public Notice by wayway of irrevocable letter ofof credit opened and accepted by the Indian bank, provided the licence is otherwise valid to cover imports . These restrictions will not apply to REP licences issued against the export of poultry products etc. falling under S. No. G. 31.2 referred to above.
4. The import policy for Registered Exporters for April , 1976- March, 1977 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly.

विषय:-अप्रैल 1976 मार्च 1977 के लिए पंजीकृत निर्यातकों के लिए आयात मीति ।
सं० 102-प्राई टी सी ( पी एम) / 76.-वाणिज्य मंत्रालय की सार्वजनिक सूचना सं ० 78-आई टी सी ( पी एन) / 76 दिनांक 2 अगस्त, 1976 की ओर ध्यान आकृष्ट किया जाता है जिस में अन्य बातों के साथ - साथ यह भी उल्लेख किया गया है कि आयात-प्रतिपूर्ति नीति के अन्तर्गत पाल्ट्री स्टाक के आयात की अनुमति पंजीकृत निर्यातकों द्वारा निर्धार्तों के मद्दे 10% की सीमा तक दी जाएगी ।
2. आयात व्यापार नियंत्रण नीति ( रेड बुक वा ० II पृष्ठ 191 ) में यथा निहित अप्रैल , 1976-मार्च 1977 अवधि के लिए पंजीकृत निर्यातकों के लिए आयात नीति के अन्तर्गत " पशु- धन प्रजनन" के आयात की अनुमति क्रम सं ० जी-31.2 के अन्तर्गत आने वाले "चूर्जी के सत्ष , भंडों और मुर्गी के मास सहित पाल्ट्री उत्पादों" के निर्यात के मद्दे है । यह निश्चय किया गया है कि कालम 5 में उक्त क्रम सं ० जी-31.2 के सामने निम्न- लिखित अभ्युक्ति निविष्ट की जाएगी:-
"कालम 4 में मद बी अर्थात् पशुधन प्रजनन के आयात की अनुमति केवल कालम 2 में उल्लिखित उत्पादों के निर्यातों के मद्दे दी जाएगी । अन्य किसी भी उपबन्ध के अन्तर्गत इस मद के आयात की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी । "
3. पहले ही जारी किए गए आर ईपी लाइसेंसों के आधार पर पशु-धन प्रजनन क आयात के लिए कोई भी वचन बद्धता नहीं करनी चाहिए । पशु -धन प्रजनन के श्रायात के लिए इस सार्वजनिक सूचना की तिथि को या इस से बाद में पोतलदान केवल उन्हीं आर ई पी लाइसेंसों के आधार पर किए जा सकते हैं जिन प्रति अपरिवर्तनीय साख -पत्त्र खोल कर और भारतीय बैंक की स्वीकृति प्राप्तिः तरी से इस सार्वजनिक सूचना क जारी होने की शिथि से पहले ही पक्की वचन बद्धता की जा चुकी हो, बशर्ते कि लाइसेंस भाग I-खं. 1

आयात करने के लिए अन्य सभी प्रकार से वैध हो । ये प्रतिबन्ध ऊपर उल्लिखित क्रम सं० जी० 31.2 के अन्तर्गत आने वाले पाल्ट्री उत्पादों आदि के निर्यात के मद्दे जारी किए गए आर ई पी लाइसेंसों के लिए लागू नहीं होंगे ।
4. अप्रैल, 1976- मार्च , 1977 के लिए पंजीकृत निर्यातकों के लिए आयात नीति तदनुसार संशोधित की गई समझी जाए ।
