ORDERS
New Delhi, the 8th October 1976
G.S.R. 839 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essen- tial Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Northern Rice Zone (Movement con- trol) Order, 1968, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Northern Rice Zone (Movement Control) Amendment Order, 1976.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. In the Nothern Rice Zone (Movement Control) Order, 1MB,—
(i) in clause l, for sub-clause (2), the following sub-clause shall be sub- stituted, namely:—
"(2) It extends to the States of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan and the Union territories of Chandigarh and Delhi.";

"4A. Rajasthan (i) Head Constable;
(ii) Nalb Tahsildar of the Revenue Department;
(lii) Enforcement Inspector of the Food and Civil Supplies Department.".

G.S.K. 836 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essen- jjfftl Commodities Act, 1933 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby rescinds fib* Orders issued by the Central Government as specified in the Schedule below;
Provided such rescission shall not affect—
(a) the previous operation of the said Orders or any thing duly done or Buffered thereunder; or (

•nd any such Investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be Instituted, con- •nued or enforced, and such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed " U the said Orders had not been rescinded.
THE SCHEDULE
1. The Rajasthan Foodgraina (Restrictions on Border Movement) Order. 1959, published with the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 432, dated the 9th Aprii, 1959.
2. The Rajasthan (Rice Import Restriction) Order, 1960, published with the *otlncation of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Commmunity Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 686, dated the 17th June, 1960.
3. The Rajasthan Rice (Export Control) Order, 1961, published with the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agricul- ture (Department of Food) No. G.S.R, 472, dated the 4th April, 1961.
